| | Description | Twining's Four Red Fruits Black Tea starts with a selection of our expertly blended black teas and then Twining's adds the juicy fruit flavour of strawberries, cherries, raspberries and redcurrants. This medium bodied tea has a wonderful aroma and rewarding taste. Enjoy black or with a hint of milk. Light Flavour Strength About Twinings Since 1706, Twinings has been at the forefront of the tea trade. Customers in more than 100 countries enjoy Twinings products, and not just the popular traditional favorites: Twinings now includes products such as fruit and herbal infusions, aromatic teas, and iced teas. These fresh flavors reflect a worldwide trend toward a healthier and more varied lifestyle. The new flavors are as successful as the traditional ones, because Twinings prepares them using skills acquired through three centuries of experience. After quenching thirsts for so many generations, no one knows better than Twinings how to deliver a drink that's in perfect condition. Although British-based, and still operating in England, Twinings also has plants in North Carolina and Calcutta, India. Success in the competitive worldwide tea market was confirmed in 1972 (and again in 1977) when Twinings became the first tea company to win a Queen's Award for Export. In 1706 Thomas Twinings started selling fine teas in England. Today Twinings sell more than 200 teas in more than 100 countries throughout the world. | |

Good Tea Dec 13, 2011
By Pinky Since I came back from business trip in China, I've been addicted to Jasmine tea. I've noticed that Twinings Jasmine tea is not as strong as tea I've tasted in China. Jasmine flavor is a bit weak. It's convenient that each tea bag is sealed individually, particularly at my work and I can bring the tea to my business trip.

Good Green Tea Jul 22, 2010
By Paul Moskowitz I have been drinking Twinings teas for years. Twinings teas are consistently good. Each tea bag comes in a sealed envelope which helps to keep it fresh. Over a period of time, I have settled on two favorites. These are the Darjeeling and Green teas.
Twinings Darjeeling Tea: At one time, I used Twinings China Black Tea. Unfortunately, they stopped selling that variety. I tried others, but chose the Darjeeling tea for an afternoon tea and snack break. It offers a nice strong flavor and deep color. There is enough caffeine in this tea to provide a nice lift.
Twinings Green Tea: There are quite a few varieties of green tea offered by Twinings. I prefer the pure green tea. Interestingly, according to the product blurb, green tea is made from the same leaves as is black tea. The difference is in the processing. Green tea is lighter in color and has a more subtle taste. In general, green teas have less caffeine than the darker teas. I find that the Green tea is good for early evening. It has just enough caffeine to provide some energy but not too much to keep me awake at night.
I recommend both the Darjeeling and Green varieties of Twinings teas.

Green Tea with Body Mar 29, 2010
By Kathy W I am a big tea lover and have been since longer than forever. I enjoy a good full-bodied, flavorful, special tea. This one is very good. Twinings of London has great tea anyway--all their flavors. The Jasmine Green Tea has the benefits and flavor of green tea, but the Jasmine adds a little body to it. It is a browner mix than green teas normally are, as if it was a mixture of green and black teas.
The ingredients are simply green tea and jasmine flowers, in that order. The package indicates it is "pure and natural". Each tea bag is individually sealed in a plastic/foil package to preserve tea freshness and flavor. It is smooth and refreshing, not overpowering like some of the asian green teas I have tried.
Fairly good Mar 02, 2010
By B. Scroggins This Jasmine Green tea is not as good as some blends I've purchased from Asian markets, or tea specialty shops, but it is better than your average grocery store jasmine. It tastes a bit grassier than others, and is not quite as fragrant as I'd wish.
