Rice-and-gravy is a daily staple on the dinner table in South Louisiana. Just add water to Tony Chachere's Rice and Gravy Mix and cook up this super side dish for any entree.

SKILLET CHOPS & RICE

Ingredients:
6 pork chops
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
3-1/2 cups water
1 package Tony Chachere's Rice & Gravy Mix

Steps: In a large skillet brown pork chops. Remove from skillet and drain fat. Saut?hopped vegetables for 3 to 5 minutes. Add water and Tony Chachere's Rice & Gravy Mix and prepare according to directions. Halfway through cooking time, return chops to skillet and complete cooking. Yields 6 servings..
