A few years ago I started using Agave nectar as a sweetener in my tea, and I have never looked back. Its mild, light flavor is an ideal additional to various teas as it doesn't detract from their flavor. I've tried several different Agave nectar flavors, and of all of them I liked the Madhava brand the best. This particular size works the best for me, as it usually lasts me several weeks. Highly recommended.

I learned about this little gem from Alton Brown's Margarita recipe.. no doubt you will enjoy this instead of Simple Syrup. Just mix about a tea spoon of it with the juice from one orange, one lime, lime zest and 2-3 oz of tequila and ice and you'll have a great margarita! (change ratios based on sweet:sour ratio desired.) Enjoy!
