1Nasty and Bitter  Jan 13, 2012 By Opinunated
The Habanero chile is one of the hottest chilies known to man. So it comes as no surprise that this sauce is very hot on a drop by drop basis. There is nothing wrong with that! In fact, I prefer a very potent hot sauce. However there are nasty and bitter tastes to this sauce which I don't think anyone would like.

Note: there is no smoke flavor to this sauce despite what another reviewer says. I suspect this reviewer was confused and was thinking of a chipotle sauce (made by this or another manufacturer) that uses the smoked jalapeño pepper - aka - a chipotle. A chipotle sauce has a wonderful smoked flavor to it but this sauce does not use that chile and there is not even a hint of a smoked taste to it.

This sauce is very potent but beyond that considerable heat there is little more than a nasty and bitter aftertaste.

5Hot with flavor!  Sep 03, 2011 By Jimmi G "J"
I tried this sauce the other day that a friend of mine had at lunch. WOW!!! While the heat was intense, it was pleasant with a smokey flavor unlike other habanero sauces I have tried before. I would highly recommend this sauce with meat, chicken, chili, and stews. Make your taste buds come alive!!
