| | Description | At last, Rolled Oats for people with celiac disease or gluten intolerance. The oats are grown by our cooperative of over 200 farmers planting pedigree seed and growing only pure, high grade oats. Each farm delivery is sampled many times and tested with an R5 ELISA gluten test to ensure the absence of gluten. Roasting enhances that wholesome, robust flavor you expect. The oats are packaged in our 100% gluten free facility. Although a tiny fraction of the population cannot tolerate even the purest gluten free oats, most will find oats to be a deliciously welcome addition to their diets. If you're unsure, please consult first with your healthcare advisor. Cooking Instructions Stovetop: Bring 2 cups water and 1/4 tsp salt to a boil. Add 1 cup Gluten Free Rolled Oats, reduce heat and cook 10-20 minutes (depending on the consistency you desire). Stir occasionally. Cover and remove from heat and let stand a few minutes. Makes 2 servings. Microwave: In a large bowl, combine 1/2 cup Gluten Free Rolled Oats and 1 cup water. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir oats and microwave another 30 seconds. Cover and let stand 3 minutes. Makes 1 Serving. | |

Not my gluten free recommendation Feb 03, 2012
By Leah Hinckley
"lockstures"
Unfortunately this product has a stale taste and a bad gluten reaction to my celiacs disease. It's not my choice is eating fr breakfast because it's hard to mask it's taste of "shelf" with sweeteners and spices. I first thought my gluten reaction was an accident but after the fourth time eating this and suffering from sinus pain, migraines, and neck pain, I was very disappointed.

NOT BOB'S GLUTEN FREE OATS Jan 18, 2012

"vs"
The picture is of BOB'S GLUTEN FREE OATS. However, the package is of regular oats with a sticker applied on the bag that says gluten free. WHAT THE HELL? We all know that oats are NATURALLY gluten free, but without the gluten free certification we do not know THEY HAVE NOT BEEN CONTAMINATED W/GLUTEN IN THE MILLING PROCESS. I AM DISGUSTED BY THE MISLEADING SALE. YOU PICTURED ONE ITEM, BUT YOU SOLD ME A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ITEM. I FEEL 100% DECEIVED.

NOT Gluten Free May 05, 2012
By A. Siegal I received a package of Bob's Extra Thick Rolled Oats -- not what I ordered and not what was pictured on the seller's page. This one is made in a facility that processes wheat. It has a little sticker attached (covering the bar code) that includes the words "Gluten Free", but am I to believe that? I wasn't born yesterday! Back it goes...
